Recognition and Enforcement
As the number of disputes involving extraterritorial elements increases, courts decisions should also be implemented in the countries where the parties to the dispute reside. For decisions established by foreign courts, such implementation is only possible through the recognition and enforcement of such decision, and the conditions of such recognition and enforcement procedure are determined by the law of the country where the decision is sought to be implemented. Within this context, our office regularly advises its clients for the recognition and enforcement of foreign court decisions under the Law No. 5718 on International Private Law and Procedural Law.
